Despite the rain and now cold weather, The Crossing has got off to a bright start for 2023.  We have made changes to the menus, wine lists and Sunday roasts and are particularly pleased that our new Chef, Ricardo Rizzo, has settled in so seamlessly and is already producing wonderful new dishes. More about that later this month…
 
In the meantime, don’t forget to use your Crossing key-rings Monday to Thursday and here’s a snapshot of your upcoming events:

The Crossing Quiz is Back

The first Crossing Quiz on 10th January was a full house – to be followed up with the next quiz on Tuesday 24th January when the prize is DINNER FOR 2 WITH WINE at The Crossing.

Burn’s Night

We will be hosting Burn’s Night on Wednesday 25th January with menu items including Cullen Skink, Haggis, Neeps and Tatties with a Whisky jus and Apple McCrumble with a Highland Whisky spiked custard.  We will also be offering a selection of Highland and Islay Malts to suit your taste.

Six Nations

Starting 4th of February


Six Nations rugby will be starting on the 4th of February, with England versus Scotland in the Calcutta Cup match, live at 4:45pm. We’ll be showing all of the games in both our garden and upstairs. Please make sure to book early. 

The next England game will be Sunday the 12th of February at 3pm, where they will be facing off against Italy. 

Of course all other games will be shown as well!

Jazz @ The Crossing

We are pleased that so many of you have enjoyed our Sunday Jazz with Trio Manouchè led by Simon Harris. From Sunday 5th February we will be introducing new young artists in an evening of jazz & live music.

The February performance will include an original set from Matty Barclay.

Valentine’s Day

14th of February

It’ll be Valentines day before you know it, so we’ll be putting together a romantic menu including Truffle Pasta and Lobster Risotto. Why not treat that special someone to a romantic evening here at The Crossing, with our signature cosy atmosphere, lovely wines and a truly spectacular menu that’s sure to wow.
